Sydney is currently based in the Greater Boston area. If you would like to hire Sydney for Computer Aided Design and Product Development services, select a time in the calendar below to set up an introductory video call. She is open to remotely working with clients within the US.
During the call, you will meet Sydney over Zoom and she will ask about the intended application of the CAD modeling work you are requesting. For example:
CAD model and/or 2D drawing that will be used to make a product from flat material using laser cutting
After discussing the scope of the work you are requesting, Sydney will send you an estimate for the price to complete that project. You may also be asked if you would like to include non-disclosure or intellectual property agreements if you choose to work together.
Sydney currently uses Onshape Professional and Fusion 360 for all CAD modeling work and will work with you to ensure that files will be shared with you in a compatible file format for any software or Product Data Management system you may be using. In addition to Onshape and Fusion 360, her past experience includes working in Solidworks and Siemens NX.
If you are interested in learning foundational Computer Aided Design skills, perhaps to make a career pivot or strengthen your skills in a current role, Sydney is currently offering tutoring in the Boston area. To be tutored by Sydney, you must have your own CAD software and be able to meet in Medford, Somerville, or Lexington, MA. She will meet you at a coworking space to go over strategies for fundamental CAD modeling skills. Tutoring fees are currently up to $60 per hour.
